Image was captured by shooting through the back of a Hexanon 38mm f/2.8 lens from a broken Konica C35 Automatic. The Hexanon lens is less than 1.5 inches away from the plant. The plant is extremely small.The iPhone application used was Camera+, Photogene, FilterStorm, and PhotoMarkr.

Remembering 9/11

I was here at work during 9/11. The airport accepted emergency landings at a rate of perhaps one landing every 4-5min's. Within an hour there was an aircraft parked on all 40 or so gates plus another 40+ scattered about the ramp by mid-day. All of them emptied, shut down, and locked up tight. All that remained that day was an eerie silence mixed with the shock of it all.
